WEC - Silverstone: Winning start

The highlights from the first round of the World Endurance Championship held in Silverstone. World champions “Gimmi” Bruni and Toni Vilander were once again the kings of the GTE class on the #51 Ferrari 458 Italia by AF Corse. The Italian and the Finn were able to win in the home of British motorsport coming back on the front after a disappointing qualifying session on Saturday. “Gimmi” and Toni beat the Team Manthey’s Porsche #91 and the #71 Ferrari of James Calado and Davide Rigon.
