Championnat - Red Bull titré, le parfait hommage à Mateschitz

Alors que l'un de ses cofondateurs, Dietrich Mateschitz, vient de s'éteindre, Red Bull Racing a rendu un hommage parfait à l'Autrichien en s'offrant le sacre constructeurs grâce à la victoire de Max Verstappen à Austin.

Le Néerlandais creuse encore l'écart au championnat pilotes mais ce n'est plus qu'anecdotique à ce stade puisqu'il est déjà sacré. Avec sa deuxième place pendant que Carlos Sainz a abandonné, Lewis Hamilton revient à quatre petits points du top 5.

Côté constructeurs, Aston Martin a sans doute manqué l'occasion de faire un gros coup face à Alfa Romeo en ne concrétisant pas un possible double top 10.
